which 5.75" coil is better for hunting in trashy areas on the vaquero? the dd or the concentric and why?thanks gentlemen.bye for now, blowfly
 
Blowfly, from what I've read, in highly mineralised ground the DD coil will cope better than a concentric....less ground issues to cope with owing to the narrower signal from the coil to the ground...in trashy ground it will get through the trash better than the concentric for much the same reason. I cant take it much further than that...if you want more technical info you need someone like Monte. All the best. Sapper
