coils for quattro

My first post tho I've looked for some time. Have had Quattro for about a year and really like it. Not new to this have been detecting for 35 years.
Anyway, my reason for post, want to get coil for use in trashy areas but also good depth. Am looking at Coiltek Platypus or Sunray 8 inch. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

better in trash, lighter, easier to pinpoint with etc. BUT, it's not quite as deep as the stock DD coil, I lose about an inch of depth in my area.

Gofer, just got my 8" EXcellerator coil and went out today for the first time. Works great in the trash and much, much easier to pinpoint with. The 8" coil is the right choice as mtdoramike said. Good hunting!!
