Coils for HH PI

Anybody have any information to share on their experiences with the 11" vs. the 8" coil for their HeadHunter PI. I currently own an Excaliber but heard a pulse is much deeper. Anybody have an idea how deep the 8" and 11" go. Also is the 11" really that difficult to pin point with? I bought my HH with the 11" coil but eventually would like to add the 8" as well.Thanks

I have the older PI with the 11" coil. When I hit the target I bring it to the back of the coil. This seems the best for me . I also do this with all my other detectors. Water , beach or land. Hope this helps. Have a Happy New Year

I guess we will find out together. I used the 8" coil last year and I just loved the detector. So I picked up the 11" coil a few weeks ago when the wife asked what I wanted for Christmas. The 8" I felt went as deep as my Excal. I expect more with the bigger coil.
