COILS FOR 1266X:confused:

C.J.M.

Well-known member
just bought a rare 5x10" concentric coil.its not a d.d. coil.i understand that the c.c. goes deeper than the d.d.5x10".its in mint condition with cover ,works good with my 1266x.does anyone have any feedback for this coil please?

That coil will run in depth right along with you 8" and has better ground coverage and just about replaces the little 5" in the trash. It will not keep up with the 10 1/2" in depth. When I had my 1270 it just about stayed on the stick. For me it done it all.

Good coil,

I now have WV62's 1270 with 5x10" coil and thats a killer combo covers more ground and has dang good depth, I have 5 coils for this 1270 and the 5x10 stays on it 90% of the time the other 10% I am using the 10-1/2" coil for relic hunting.
