Hi,
I have the GTI 1500 also and had always wanted to try the 12.5 coil on it - I finally came across a 12.5 Scorcher coil CHEAP and could'nt resist buying it. After putting it on I never looked back even tho I lost the imaging feature. It is just the ticket for the parks I hunt in. I have other machines I can use for sniping. I have to say the 1500 has got to go down in history as one of the best coinshooters ever made - I would never part with mine!!

It's the replacement coil for the old White coil. It's more stable than the White coil. Also, they would have put a new Mineral chip in it. It stops it from overloading in heavy mineralised ground. If the ground is too severe, then all targets will read as 3.5, in which case you'll need to put on the DD coil.

...that was their statement...The upgrade for the chip will cost about 140 Dollar, and the coil costs in Germany 240 Dollar...that's nearly half of the price a new GTI 1500 costs...now i'm a little bit disappointed...
