Coil tuning??

Pal Al

New member
I was reading another post in another forum and the explorer user was writing about this new coil he just obtained and how it was working out for him,but he figured that he still had some "tuning" to do on it. Now I am assuming that means adjusting the settings on the machine, but for the life of me I never thought about doing that based on the coil I was using. Anybody here have some insight about "coil tuning?"

There is no way to tune the explorer coil no user way to tune it definetely , maybe minelab could do it but no way can a user "tune the coil" the coil is sealed.

Yeah your right. What I found out was that the "tuning" that my buddie was talking about was just the adjustment of settings and tweaking of same to determine the depth and the ability of the coil to separate trash from treasure. So the tuning is more to the tuning of your settings for that particular coil, in this case a Sunray X-5.:detecting::goodnight::minelab::coiltec:
