Coil selection with 8x6

I'm wondering, which coil should I select under the coil selection to best suit when the 8x6 SEF coil is on the V3i to get the best performance?
 
Use the 6X10. It does not improve performance, it just makes the depth readings more accurate.

Thanks Larry! I meant to include depth there...I knew that the coil selection affected it--I think I just accidentally wrote out what I've been wondering about it affecting performance as well, mainly along the lines of whether or not the coil size had an impact on VDI stability.
