Coil Question

The new coils for the T C & V have improved RF shielding. Are they better in any other way over the earlier generation of coils, such as the 8.5 Widescan?

I didn't really care for the earlier widescans the 11" really made the detector nose heavy, the new 10x12 really works well, I found a very small lizzie hammered with it in England and last summer picked up sopme nice gold nuggets at Ganes Creek ...HH...Geo

Seeker, were you using the 10x12 on the LST at Gaines creek. Sierra
