Coil Question

Coil from the 6 also work with the 6a

If that is a question, the answer is no...different connector.

In fact, the only real difference between the 6 and 6a is the coil connector.

(Note, however, that many CZ-6 machines were converted to CZ-6a specs (original and current) connector and and aren't marked...you just have to look at the box.)

Other than the water machines, all CZ/Quicksilver coils will work with all CZ detectors...EXCEPT for the CZ-6.
(They tried out a more weatherproof connector that just didn't pan out on the 6.)

Hope this helps,
mike

The CZ6 also had a pigtail that you plugged your headphones into instead of the standard 1/4" jack.

electrically similar, different connectors.

It has 5 pins, although only four are used on the prongs.
