Coil Question ...........

Elton

New member
If you had a 6X8 SEF coil for your E-Trac but were not a big fan of SEF... What would you trade it for.

I am looking for opinions. I got an answer from a Master of the Minelabs, but would like to hear your suggestions and why... ???

Thanks and I will await your responses..

Elton-----Can't imagine anyone not liking the SEF's----but----in this size--a good alternative would be the Sunray X-8.----Both those coils are mid-sized coils with the 6 X 8 SEF getting a little better separation and the X-8 getting a little better depth (IMO).----There's also the Coiltek Joey coil which is really good albeit more expensive.-------Del

IF I was not happy with the SEF coil ( I'am not) But if I was and wanted to stay with a small coil ....... it would be the "Stealth X5" for sure !!!:detecting: Good luck in your decission.

Elton------If I was choosing a small coil (6" range)---my two picks for the Explorers/Etracs would be the 6" Excellerator EQ2 Pro and the Sunray X-5 (in that order).
