Coil question

I have a Garrett Mastre Hunter ADS111 and a Master hunter CX111, I tryed the CX111 COIL
on the ADS111 and the ADS stoped working,it blowed a cap.
question is there any Garrett coil old or new that will inter-change, work on the master hunter
CX111 with out damageing it.

I'm no guru--- to work on the ads111 a coil should be designed for the frequency of the ads & the transmit, recieve,ground(if any) should be in the same position in the coil connector as the stock one. Dont know if there are any, but suspect there is. The connector must also fit the machine ADS111
