Coil Question

Active member
Had a 5.75 widescan coil for my Vaquero but could not get it to ground balance very well and pinpointing with it was difficult so a fella I know had this coil and it had the 4 pin plug it is approx 3" x 6" give or take and pinpoints outstanding right below cable connector and after ground balance and super tuned I was hitting a dime at 7 inches hard a quarter at well over 9 inches pretty solid Question is , was this coil possiably used on an older Lobo maybe I cant seem to locate a pic of it anywhere

While I'm not the ultimate expert, over the years I've been pretty familiar with Tesoro, the only oval coils I'm aware of were/are on the Lobo or Lobo ST.

Yes there was a smaller coil for the 4 pin tesoro's...
I had gotten one a while back but it was a reject and I sent it into them..they said the coil was bad but could ot replace it and sent me back a 5.75 .
Though I would hav loved that small elipitical to work in the first place...seems you found a good one.

I think so It sure seems to work very well on the Vaq quite and no bouncing of signals going to take it to an older park tomorrow will see how it does
