coil question

I was wondering if anyone can help. I live in ma and use the stock 8.5x11 coil and hunt alot of fields. The ground balance comes in the 80s area and it seems that deeper coins dont id all that great. Merc dimes at 5the inches or so come in from the 60s to low 80s. Alot of times i get really iffy signals as well. Would a concentric coil be better or a different size dd? Thanks for any help.

How dry is the soil there?.. My machine ground balances a lot of times around 82-83 here...Mercs (dimes in general) hit around 81-83

concentric coil goes a little bet deeper, but have some problem on mineralized soil.
here in Italy with the at pro international, i have found coins at vdi 37 38. with the dd coil.
usually i pay attention only at the tones. if they're good I'll dig it!

this video will show you the difference between the concentric and the dd. we did it, and i hope you will enjoy it.
