Hello tom,
Just happened to catch your post here. I recently picked up an Xterra myself. I almost bought a at gold after watching your vid and other reviews..
The Xterra models are just good all around machines for the price point and hard to beat them. I dont know about the 3 khz coil...I dont own one..just saw your name and wanted to say "hello". I have always enjoyed watching your vids on youtube .Great job there!! BTW if you can remember my former youtube name was weirdparkguy..lol. Havent made many vids mding vids for awhile..but am going to start again soon.
