Just a quick question. I tried out another 12.5" crossfire II coil on my 1250. The difference between that one and the one I already have is exactly one notch for every coin (cent - dollar). The older one is exactly one notch higher on every coin. Is this the norm? No two coils are exactly alike. Just curious?........HH Rich
 
Don't own a 12.5 but from using various larger coils they sometimes differ a tad on ID and depth ID may be off a bit also. All a matter of getting used to. Some manufactres actually tune a coil to the unit, but never heard that with Garrett and would be self defeating as you couldn't sitch coils back and forth..
