coil problems

okay so last month I had a d2 go bad on me then again I had another one go bad last week. Now today I got a 4x6 from whites and low and be hold it is bad is there any way my V3I could have a problem that is making coils go bad I just had to send in my metal detector in and have it fixed back in March. I did change the coil size in the expert menu and tested all coils at Rx of 15 and would not stop overloading until I got my Rx down to 10 and below on others. I have never had a problem with coils till this V3I. could it be something with my metal detector ? I all ways had the Tx boost off while testing the coils.
 
Unbeleavable, I've never had problems and I had many V3, V3i and prototypes. In all these years I've had one coil go bad.

I would call Whites first and tell them you want to send the detector and coils in for a check up Tell them you want all coils checked with your detector. You will end up with a perfect matched set. Good Luck
 
whites have been great so far and I know they will take care of me(not at all worried about that) sorry I didn't mention that the d2 they sent me as a replacements working great. I will call whites on Monday and talk to Mary or just send them the4x6 and the other d2 that I think is bad and see what they say(make sure they are bad) and ask Mary if should send in my v3i to be checked out. it seemed to be working good today. I was going to keep the 4x6 on my vx3 but I just had to give it a shot on my V3I. I am in no way trying to bad mouth whites I sold my e-track to buy my v3i and it was the best move I ever made.
 
well I talked to Mary and Connie today both great people they tested the coils and they were bad have two new ones on the way. they also want me to send my V3I in so they can check it out. Mary also said it was unlikely that my detector is damaging the coils.
WHITES IS BAR NONE THE BEST
