coil options for depth?

OK so now that I have the 6x8 SEF and the stock coil, do I need a Deep coil? reason I ask is I routinely dig rusty iron objects at at least the depth of my lesche if not a bit more... some are big like old pulleys, but some are small like the size of a quarter. my question is if the iron can sink that deep why can't the coins? and why are they not toning in? I feel like maybe I'm missing some deep oldies... I dig these deep iron objects when I get those real faint tones and the depth meter is pegged... the soil here is very sandy and I know for a fact I have pulled a few old IH's at 14 "... and before you say it.. I have been a carpenter most of my life, I can judge length/depth.. thanks for the help!

The WOT and Detech Ultimate 13" are really popular. You'd need to confirm coins are deep to warrant a deep coil. The only way to know is to use a deep coil to get to said coins. It's a self propagating monster of sorts...like this hobby.
