coil information please

Morning friends;

I need a bit of info on the small white, mxt eliptical coil; one is called a shooter and one an eclipse one is white one is black????? can someone explain which is what is who or Youknow; the difference and which is the better one to buy??

Also the newest MXT with all the bells and whistles; when did it come out?

The white, elliptical eclipse is not so small. It's 6X10 and is favored by many to be a main used coil. The 4X6 "shooter" is a more specialized coil for nosing out goodies in heavy trash. It has less depth and coverage, but separates the good targets better in trash and is good for getting close to fences and play ground poles etc. Both coils are widescan in design which is considered to handle mineralized ground better than concentric coils. The newer MXT Pro came out several years ago.
