Coil from Eurotek Pro will it fit a G2? It is the 8 inch coil

Note the above sticky post by Dave J, the lead design engineer, who informed us that the Teknetics G[sup]2[/sup] and Fisher Gold Bug Pro were designed to ONLY be used with [size=small](and provide the best performance with)[/size] Double-D search coils. Today, that would include the round 5", the elliptical 5X10, and the big 11" BiAxial [size=small](Double-D)[/size] search coils.

I tried the 8" round and the 5½x9¾ Concentric coils on the G[sup]2[/sup] during my evaluation back in the fall that they were released, and aat times they kind of worked, but they definitely do not work well. Nor did the newer Fisher F19 so I presume the coming Teknetics G[sup]2+[/sup] will also not be a good match for the round 8" Concentric coil.
