Coil for Explorer SE

peterinaust.

New member
Hello all,
I am in Australia, and for many years have hunted the beaches around Cairns North Queensland, with my Minelab Explorer SE, useing the standard SE Pro coil. I am after any feed back good or bad on the Coiltek 15" WOT FBS coil, to be used on my Explorer, for beach hunting.

Any feed back welcome. Kind regards Peter.

I use the coiltec WOT 15" at the beach here in san diego california and it works great in the wet and dry sand... in the wet sand it will start to make a little grunt false sound , that is because of the
black mineralize sand here on the california beachs in the wet sand... use lower sensitivity I use no higher than 15 sen... the numbers on little grunt falseing sound are reading on the digital screen
at 00/01.... you can hear a good target sound right over the falseing... the WOT will go deep!! no problem with small targets with the WOT coil it will still find them.... it will cover more ground
with one swing because of its larger size but it weights a little more...

Thank's outdoors for the reply. I have also read Bryce's report on the coil, sounds good for what I want it for.

Regards
Peter
