Coil ? for Explorer II

I am looking to purchase an 8" coil for my Explorer II. Is there any advantage to using this? If so, could someone explain why? What is the best coil for the Explorer II ? Yes, I'm a newbie......again!!!!!:detecting:

best coil is 1050, no point to buy 8-no advantage at all, I did so many tests :stretcher: with different coils that now I use only 1050. only my point :biteme: good luck Stasys
