Some people get better results with the Super 12" on the beach.
I meant to say the 950, but I bet the 12" would be good too for more coverage.

950 would allow me to get way more gain and sensitivity than the DD would on the beach.
So I will say 950 but it will depend on your beach. The DD was terrible on the SC coast
Have not tried the 12 on the beach.

No one wants to tell you about the BigFOOT coil...LOL
The coil off my DFX is working good for me. Bad thing is...it likes FOIL ! ! ! But that is easy to scoop at the beach. ;-)
