Coil cracked

well went to take the Tejon out and just could not get it to ground Balance well and seemed to just want to false no matter what . its always had a coil cover on it I am pretty sure as there are no scuff marks what so ever on it took the cover off when I got home and found this . guess I will send it in to Tesoro and see if they can fix it for me . in the mean time guess I will have to use the 5.75 coil on it.

Since there is no warranty on coils it would probably be cheaper for you to buy a used coil if you can find one. Any idea how the coil got cracked? Glad to hear that at least you have the 5.75 coil to use.

Not sure pine I keep it in a conditioned space in my house so I know it has never gotten hot but its cracked in numerous places the pic just don't show it . I missed that widescan you had for sell by a day I would like to of had it . I have the 5.75 concentric.

well after reading on the forum here I see where others have had this problem and did repairs with epoxy and the coil still worked . I decided to try this so I got the hair dryer and heated the coil as best I could and made sure there was no moisture which I don't think there is since the coil has been setting in a controlled temp . I epoxied it over all the cracks. I did this Sat and it has be drying since will try it today and see what happens.

well did the epoxy thing and tested the coil out and it works just fine now . I guess the moisture got in and caused me a problem
