Is there a coil cover for the 10x12 spider coil and if so, what does it retail for?

The retail of the 12X 10 is $22.95 all the Tesoro dealers should have them, or get one for you. Les T West

$23 for a coil cover! No wonder they can offer lifetime warranty.

How much do you figure it'd cost you to make the exact same one (not something you made out of duct tape) yourself?
23 bucks is a bargain.

Overpriceing is a trademark of Minelab not Tesoro.

I take it you've never seen the bottom of an unprotected 10x12 Tesoro coil. If you have, you'd know why a measly $23 is a bargain to save a $160 coil that measures pert near one square foot.

It's the purpose that this "just a piece of plastic" serves that makes it worth the $23. But if you think $23 is too much for a piece of plastic that keeps a $160 10x12 coil from being trashed (which ain't hard to do with an uncovered 10x12), that's your business.

The fact is they charge what they do because we keep buying them, so in a sense you are right, they are worth it, to them! Just imagine what we would pay if one company ever completely cornered the market with new technology.

I believe Tesoro offers the most bang for the buck of any company out there and I plan to own a Tejon sometime this year. In fact, I have a Bandido on the way which I will be very happy to own again. That said, I still feel the same way about a $23 coil cover. Would I still buy one if I needed it, yes of course.
