Coil Cover

vernt

New member
What's a good compound/ substance to use to cover/protect the bottom of a coil. Hunting in sand and surf.
Thanks.

Am sure some brand names will come up but read the ingredients and make sure one of them is not a mettalic compound which could interfere with the coils ability.

Actually a good idea as salt sand certainly gets under the cover.

Marine epoxies usually a good bet as they will certainly hold up.

For those that say your coil cover will never wear thru just remember the wet salt sand keeps the metal shovel sharp and that ought to tell you something.
