coil cord?

I was wondering just got my ne excal and why is the chord so long?also is there a better way to wrap it oround the shaft?

If you decide to hip or chest mount the machine, you'll appreciate the extra length. Might also be the reason for the extra length.

I'm glad there is the extra cord. I had a bad spot in the cord and had to cut out about 8" to repair it. Anyone know where you can buy this type of cord for doing repairs?

Leave the coil loose to dangle and start wrapping it from the pods' end. You need to have the lower rod up inside of the upper shaft, but don't engage the snap button yet. As you wrap the cable around the shaft, let the "tension" spin out at the coil end and it will be easy to adjust the lower rod when you get all the cable wrapped arounf the shaft. Another important note! Determine which hole you will want for the snap button before starting, it will make it easier to wrap all the cable and still have enough play when you need to set the lower rod in the proper hole. This will be a real benefit to your cable too, it should last longer without all those kinks in it!
