Coil Connector Adaptor

Coil connectors ....
Tiger Shark Coils = ? Pins
Umax Coils = 5 Pins
Vaquero Cibola e.t.c. = 4 Pins

I have been researching the Cleansweep coil - I want one for my Vaquero .
Came across an interesting old thread that mentions an adaptor made previuosly by Tesoro ???
Anyone here know about it ?
Is it not possible to change a 5 pin to a 4 pin ?
Do the 5 pin Coils infact have 5 wires ? Anybody seen ?
Do the 4 Pin have infact have 4 wires ?
Someone must know these details . Tesoro are not forthcoming !
You can buy a Cleansweep Coil that will fit Umax detectors though they run on different frequencies .
Previously the Cleansweeps for the Cibola/Vaquero/Tejon worked , and they run on different frequencies !

Looking forward to some replies !!!!

I too found that old post concerning the "adapter".... after some inquiries and getting no answers.... I let it go. Hopefully some here will respond.... although the original poster is probably not here any longer?

I think the adapter you are taking about is for useing umax coils on the tiger shark and stingray 2 that have the screw in connectors.but they are not water proof.I have not seen a five pin to a four pin.But Tesoro makes a clean sweep for the Vaquero.

Thanks for the replies so far . Unfortunately Tesoro are no longer making the Cleansweeps for the Vquero/Cibola e.t.c. and have not done so for quite some time now . You can get Cleansweep Coils for Umax detectors and yes you are right ringading.

I just saw several places advertising the 3x18 clean sweep for V,C etc. Kellyco being one of those.
