Coil connection question

I've noticed ever since I purchased my etrac that when I change coils, the coil connector going into the control box is slightly loose? I'm wondering if this is by design or is something wrong?

Mine is loose, wobbly, also. I assume that it is this way as a stress relief to prevent it breaking.

my e trac is the same way and so is my dads. they come that way

Thanks guys . I kinda thought they were supposed to be that way but just wanted to make sure.
