Coil Advice needed (diff kind of question I promise)

I've been hunting with an XT-70 for a year and I love it. My wife occasionally hunts with me and my son. Up till now I've been giving her my F70 to hunt with and now she tells me she doesn't really like it. I really haven't hunted much with it either and I ran some comparison tests and I've gotta say I can't blame her. Well, I'm going to get her an X-terra 50 to replace it and sell off the F70. What I need help with, is advice on what coil to put on the 50 so that it and my XT-70 won't interfere with each other so badly (anticipating this, although I could be wrong). Would the 18.75, 9" coil be a good choice to replace the stock coil on the 50 for general hunting?

Caney,

IMHO here's what to do based on some small amount of experimenting I do.:)

Buy the X50 which should come with a stock coil. Take the two detectors and space them about 15ft apart setting on the ground like you would set it down to dig a target. With the coils 90 degrees to the ground(perfectly vertical), point the coils at one another. You are trying to get good coupling like lining up two antennas.

Without headphones plugged in turn detectors on & volume up full. With the stock concentrics on both detectors you should get some chatter. Go to the x70 and change frequency since it has more choices than the X50. Cycle through them and you will find the quiet ones.
