Coil adapter

I tried it once. It didn't work well for me. I emailed the guy that made the adaptor and he refunded my money. He was surprised it didn't work and said he uses one on his own Whites.

Was this adapter from a guy on Ebay? I just ordered one on Ebay that is supposed to adapt Fisher F2/F4 coils to Whites 6.59khz detectors as long as they aren't e-series. He also sells Garrett to Whites adapters, I think his name is Ed.

yes, same guy I guess. I want to try one but may wait a couple weeks since I have already spent too much on metal detecting this payday. I thought it would be nice to put a DD coil on my Whites Eagle Spectrum that I just purchased and waiting for arrival. Bought a 5.3 coil off ebay, an extra battery holder and arm strap from Whites, and AA to C adapters from Amazon so I could use my rechargeables. Post up how the adapter works if you dont mind.

These are supposedly new and not the adapters made in the 90's for BH-Whites use. Now I got to find a F2/F4 coil to test it out.
