I was intrigued by your idea of limiting the tones to just 3; one for iron, nickel and silver. So, I gave it a shot this past weekend and I have to say it was a pleasure to use. I thought it was easier to pick out trash targets. No more confusing barrage of sounds and the lower frequencies are much easier on the ears. I've been using audio 2 for the longest time and with just 3 tones, all in all, it's just a heck of a lot simpler. The targets really "lock" in. One quick look at the digital readout, and I pretty much know what I'm looking for.
Re: audio 2, are there any advantages / disadvantages using it exclusively? Am I better off with Audio 1?
Thanks for the tip!
