Cobra Beach Magnet

I have a Cobra beach Magnet in the toolbox in the back of my truck, I got it back before Xmas. Used it on local fresh water beach, and in the water for a few weeks.It will find items if they are close to the surface, I adveraged about 25 to 30 targets per a two hour hunt. My (loving) wife got me an Excal. 1000 for Xmas. Returned to same beach,now I adverage around 70 to 80 targets in the same amount of time, and about 3 times as deep. Now I get tired from digging, before I would get tired from swinging.
