Hello to all! I dont post as much as I should, but I wanted to share my finds with the CTX on my Mexico vacation in May 2013. These finds were recovered using the Garret Ace 350 (My Dad) and the CTX 3030 (Me) most of the silver finds were done with the ctx. These items were recovered from a corn fields near an old Camino Real, we were given permission to hunt by the owners of the lands (my dads friends) and as other farmers (dads friends) saw us hunting they would come over and say "we have found old coins in our lands when you guys are done hop over and look around" (So we did:bouncy:) These were found in a matter of 11 3-4 hour days in the afternoons because it was downright HOT during the day! The tiny coin in a vinyl flip is a rare 1848 GA LR 1/4 Real, I looked up comparable sales and have founds just a couple that have sold in the area of $1400 dollars. I cant wait to go back next year, I have a feeling there has to be some gold escudos buried in those lands.
Not pictured where lots of other neat metal artifacts including a Rock that gives of a signal and is diamond shaped about 13 inches by 10 inches and has something like a "1" on it. Since the land is pull tab and trash free I was using GH Open screen with the 17 inch coil.
Next I will post my other finds this year

Wooow!

Wow looks like a good time was had by all. I'd give my left....ugh.. I'd give anything to get a chance like that.

Muggsc it has been a dream come true, all I am trying to achieve is finding a gold Escudo of any denomination.
Here are some pictures of my May 2012 finds in the same fields.
