CO scale

For those new to the CTX without E-Trac experience, this will give you a good idea where many of the popular targets are at on line 12 but keep in mind, this is just a guideline. Targets may be slightly higher or somewhat lower on the Fe numbers especially if the coin is on edge, slanted or very deep. I haven't noticed a lot of deviation with the CTX though as I did on the Trac.

And for those with mucho experience, if you know of any differences with the CTX compared to the Trac chart, share your knowledge.

Thanks Larry this will help:twodetecting::minelab::thumbup:

Larry, Thanks for sharing the chart. On previous FBS detectors, I always edited mine to accept 44 - 46 CO on the 01 FE line. I'm glad I did as I dug a Key Date 1883 CC Silver Morgan dollar that hit a solid 01/46. When the CTX 3030 reached the stage to incorporate default programs, Minelab designed the discrimination modes to ACCEPT this range of CO numbers on the FE 01 line.:thumbup: HH Randy
