CO audio values VS. FER audio values

Big Boys Hobbies

So we all agree (thanks to Andy's book) that the visual CO numbers are more of a constant accuracy at depth or mineralized ground. Does that mean running CO audio is more of a accurate constant than the FER audio????? It would lead me to believe that if the con # are more accurate than the ferrous numbers that like to bouce around maybe we would have better luck with con audio for accurate target identification.

Opinions???

I concur. And you would use Ferrous sounds with maybe a 4-tones or even 2-tones setup when looking for ferrous coins or objects.

On a SE Pro, you might use Ferrous sounds in all metal mode when searching for conductive coins in an iron infested site, but on the E-TRAC you could just keep Conduct sounds on and run Trash Density high, and maybe Fast ON in the Coins Discrimination pattern and be doing great!
