Club Silver hunt is fast approaching :clapping:

Since nothing has been posted yet about the hunt, I will share what I can with members and prospective members.

PATH has a large members only planted hunt every year and there is an entry fee. The amount is determined by how active you have been in the club, the more meetings you attend and other club activities will greatly reduce the fee, some members even earn a free hunt. If you want to know your entry fee, contact one of the officers.

I have not been privileged to the hunt details but rumors indicate the hunt follows the pattern of past hunts. In addition to the silver hunt, there might be an oldies coin hunt, key hunt and maybe the poker hunt as well. I have heard there are lots of token prizes too.

For additional information, contact one of the officers or board members.

Not this one. Still waiting for any official word about the hunt. Guess I will find our in the morning.

Hopefully we'll get something official before the time comes. It's been raining hard here.

Mud hunt, Mud hunt . Rain or shine, the hunt goes on. Parka time? Bring a grocery bag to cover your detector control box. Might scare someone away then more for me. How about easy recovery? Easy planting? Bring a towel. I am bringing my usual wash tub with water and soap for cleaning your hands. You might want to have a few zip lock bags to separate your different hunt finds. Make sure you have fresh batteries installed. Going dead in the middle of a hunt is not fun. 30 bottles of water on ice will be available by me. What others are bringing is up for grabs.

See you there?

Yeah, I would hope that they don't plant them since it will be nothing but mud. Should be a very interesting hunt. I'm ready!!!!!

The club usually provides soda and lunch but I haven't heard anything about that
