The club I am in has a scavanger hunt that has 15 itmes and you get 3 months to find it.
One of the items on the list is to find 5 pennies of consecutive years (not including zincs).
I went through my pennies and took out all the zincs.
I has 301 and a 1/2 pennies. and 59 of them are copper. (pre 1983)
I need to get a magnifing lense out in the morning because I cannot see them darn numbers any longer.
What are the odds that I still do not have 5 in a row ?
I think 1 was a wheat cent. So all remaining coins (5 should be between 1959 and 1982.
58 coins to cover 23 years ? Most likely many are dupes but will I have 5 in a row ???
