Well. the weather gods couldn't have been any kinder then they were yesterday. It sun shined all day and with all the rain we got earlier it made for easy digging and I think it made the silver sing out better. Out of the eight from our club who showed up I believe only five of us found silver. My take was 2 mercs dated 41 and 43, 2 rosies dated 52 and 57 and sixteen wheaties. They were dated 2-36's, 1-42, 1-52, 1-54, 2-55's, 1-56 and the other eight were unreadable. That ground was not very kind to the wheaties. I also got a very worn silver ring. At first I thought it was a high school ring, but now I am not so sure. It has the letters BCH on the face and under that which is pretty worn I think it says Quorum Pars Su. Don't quote me on those words, but any help on what this ring might be from would be appreciated. I think the total silver count for the day was eighteen between us. Lee kicked my butt on this one, but I'll get even next time. Got a couple of spots to check out this Wed and if they prove out then I will be posting. Thanks for looking and I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. HH.
