Club hunt today....

20 members met up at an old youth camp this morning. 32 degrees when we started with a dusting of the white stuff! BRRRR!!!! The wind kept it cold all day but the temp got to a balmy 40 degrees. Not sure what everyone got as people left at different times but I heard of at least 4 silver dimes, many wheats, 2 buffs, seen 4 rings ( all kids rings ) and many other neat items. My best was a 1917 Buffalo ( 6th one this year ) nickel, 3 wheats 44, 44, 24, a 1975 foreign coin, a large silver bead, A neat older Tootsie toy truck, a ring, an old scout knife, a rare stainless spoon! (made in USA ) and some other doo-dads. Had a blast hunting with friends.
