CLUB HUNT FIND

Just thought I would show you all what the Club Members look for when we have our Five (5) Coin Search Event

Five Ike Dollars get buried in the way shown at five parks throughout our area

Each month a clue is given about each of the five locations at our monthly meetings

When the Ike Coin is found it is brought to the next club meeting and turned in for a Silver Dollar

I just found this one and wanted you to see an example

Each Ike Coin is painted a certain way to distinguish it as to which Park it was found in

Niagara Frontier Relic Hunter's Association

We meet every third Sunday in Tonawanda, New York at a Church ( this is considered the Buffalo area or WNY area and there are a few other Clubs including Rochester NY)

We are from all over the area and some members come from Canada to attend our meetings and events

That's cool Eva! Congratulations on the find and let us know what Silver coin you choose!

In the past Three years at the Club Brian and I have managed to get 10 out of the 15 Coins buried

No Bragging..we went out with yard sticks and rope and marked off and kept going back

Perseverance and Luck

Thank you Eva for sherring that information. On the las weekend of this Month we will have a year picknic and I will take a picture of all the goodies that are seeded on the field, about 500 silver coins this year, from dimes to halfs + a lot of other tokens that have a price ( the bigest price will be a Garrett MD) so I'm looking forward to that day.
PS this will be my first time on this hunt ;)

wow! How much does a 1870s or 1880s silver dollar cost to buy?

Looked up value and they start at around $30 and way up depending on scarceness

The dates we have are common dates, the Club purchases them within a Budget

Regards
