to get rid of my newspapers in the recycling bins and try to do some detecting before rain comes, but if not then I'll be thanking my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His blessings of much needed rain!

I hope you got to dig a little! It looks like you ought to get plenty of rain. We haven't gotten much of the remnants of Dennis, only cool looking clouds and scattered showers.

slow off and on rain which has given us the much needed water for our lawns, flowers and everything. Feels soooooooooooooo good! Got wet and only detected about an hour. Playground already emptied by someone else and only found $1.06 and 18 coins. One is a Wheatie...1952-D and a child's adjustable silver-colored ring, but not silver! Ground was still hard as concrete but this rain through Wed or the weekend will make softer digging, but supposed to be in 90's again and with the humidity that won't be so pleasant! :cry:
