Close-ups of finds and also need a relic ID :shrug:

Here's my finds close-up and also I need some imput as to what the heck this one relic is.

OK, here is the relic in question. It was found where only CW relics were found and has the patina and a rough crude construction. It has a lead octagon shaped exterior that has the extruded or molded look. The inside appears to be a square hole all the way through with what appears to be wood remnants. Between the wood center and the lead exterior there appears to be square nail shaped objects inbedded in the lead with some sticking out exposed. Any ideas as to what this is? Maybe the handle of a knife or fork perhaps even a spoon, whats is it made of? looks like bone

great hunt, scott, and got an old merc dime on top of it! i'll go along with jay on the i.d. too. it does look like a handle to a fork or knife, and strengthened by the old square nails. what's it made of? anyways, great hunt! hh!
