This is a coin I dug a few years ago, and still own, it was dug at our famous Stanley Park in Vancouver.
It is a 1918 s quarter dollar, now if you look up this coin in a coin catalogue, you know why my heart almost stopped when dug it.

In 1918 this coin had a variety where another year was minted over an existing year, called 1918/7 s, have looked but does not appears it's this variety, if was...they can be worth over 100 thousand us dollars. Well thanks for looking, love this hobby. oj/bc

Silver is getting more difficult to find, and especially American silver where you live. I keep thinking that you once made mention of finding several old coins at that park over the years. What metal detector were you using? Kelley (Texas) :)

yes have found quite a few coins there, but seems were banned from the park, someone dug up an underground pipe, thanks for reading. hh oj
