Well got out for a couple hours today but only got close to the silver all around it but wrong coins . The silver coins keep hiding from me . I think these parks around here have been picked clean of the old silver coins only ones I have found are the 1943 silver war nickels .I do hunt other yards and places but nothing in the silver coins yet .
 
Just keep looking sometimes they show up in unexpected places. This is my first summer hunting and I have found around 600 coins and only 5 of them where silver, one was a Morgan dollar in my own back yard. I have found 2 silver Rosies, a Merc, a buffalo, 1 Indian, 5 wheat and a shield nickel so I think the old ones are pretty hard to find unless you have some good locations and lots of patience.
 
Your time will come when you find that silver coin. Like Nailbender said, "sometimes they show up in unexpected places". That's so true and give it time. Thanks for the pics and I love the old nickels. Keep up the good detecting and HH, Nancy
