I have an excaluberII for about a month now. Heard about Clive Clynick books but dont know which one to pick first. Any ideas for a novice?

Get them all. All his books are well worth the money. Clive is the man when it comes to the Excalibur.....OldBeechnut and Mel Parker are also the guys to look up on this and other forums.

I have to echo all of the above. I have all his water hunting books as well as many of his other books. I have learned so much from reading them. I read & re-read them. He has some really good infromation and detector specific infromation as well as all purpose information. I highly recommend his books!
