Even more crowded down here on Anna Maria/Longboat Key!Kinda cold tho only got up to 75 degrees!Waiting for something from Mr. Bill to come so I can take advantage of the tourists.

Welcome to my neck of the woods. Ill be out there later today. Stayed there until 8 last night. No gold or silver, just a few bucks in change. Fantastic place to catch a sunset though. Maybe We'll see you out there someday.

I guess the rest of the crew cleanexd it out.

Hit the beach just after sunset, ended uo with just small change (1.60) an earring and a braclet.

Spring breakers should be on their way down this weekend.
 
I grew up in Clearwater in the 60s/early 70s. We used to go to that beach every weekend either just to play on the beach or we would take the boat out and do some skiing. We used to stop on some of the little islands out there and catch horseshoe crabs! Caught a few spanish mackerel off pier 60, too! We would either go to the main beach in the photo, or north a bit to Mandalay beach. Looks like the area has grown up some since the late 60s, but not as much as most tourist beaches have.
