CLEANSWEEP & DUSTCOVER

My wife want's to try TH'ing. I've about decided to get her a Tesoro because of the quality, price and weight. I'm a beach hunter, dry sand. I use a Whites with a Bigfoot coil. I tried a Tesoro a couple years ago with a Cleansweep. I liked the detector but the Cleansweep weighed about twice as much as my Bigfoot. Did Tesoro ever lighten the Cleansweep up? Are there good dustcovers available for the Tesoros?
Thanks and take care.
Dale

Whatever you do don't stick your wife with a Cleansweep on a Tesoro fot the reason you mentioned. WAAAAAAY TOOOOOOO HEAVY.
The coil work's well enough but the weight is atrocious.
I use my Eldorado some at the beach & the stock coil works fine in the dry, a bit noisy in the wet but I can cut back on sens.
& raise disc a little bit & can still use it here in Ca..
Keep it light for the wife so she doesn't get discouraged. Good luck............jim

Jim,
Thanks for the response. Hopefully Tesoro will make a replacement that lighter. I liked the way the Cleansweep worked but I couldn't take the weight for any length of time.
Take care.
