Cleansweep Coil on Manual Ground Balance Machines

Can anyone tell me if Cleansweep coils used on manual ground balance machines (e.g., the Vaquero, the Outlaw, the Bandidi II uMax, etc.) are ground balanced the same as Big Foot coils are on Whites machines (I.e., tip down at a 45 degree angle)?

I've never heard of this all the time they've been available, so I don't think so.

I recently tried a 10 KHZ Cleansweep 3x18 coil, on a 10.6 KHZ outlaw. I could not GB it ?, Maybe i'm doing something wrong ?

The soil conditions might make a difference. The Clean Sweep coil I had ground balanced on my Eldorado and Deleon just like all the other coils did. Don't expect to get much more than 4 inches or so in depth. They're are designed for mopping up on fresh drops in a hurry. Those rings and coins that are still in the turf or just below the surface are easy pickings for the Clean Sweep coil. They're especially useful when working manicured sports fields where digging holes is not a good option. Ground keepers don't get too upset when you use a screw driver to pop you finds on their manicured sports fields.

I tried my coil tonight. It ground balanced fairly close to my 10 x 12 and was hitting a dime down 5 inches. It seems to work with the Outlaw.
