so today i got my first 2 cent it is very green. I have used olive oil in the past with a tooth pick to clean coppers but this one isnt budging. Any advice on what else to do to clean it i just want to know the date being it is my first 2 cent...Thanks and HH
What I do is soak it in distilled to loosen it up a bit. Take some hydrogen peroxide and boil in the microwave. I use a glass bowl and put the coin in. Pour the HP over it. It will bubble like crazy. I toss the hp and repeat for the other side. It will eat a lot of the crud off. Then you can oil it
