Cleaning coins!

John D.

New member
I just discovered an almost effortless way to clean coins.
Since I am retired and my wife still works, I do everything I can to help around the house. This morning I failed to check my pockets for loose change before I put them in the washer. When I remove a load of jeans, I noticed 6 0r 7 coins in the bottom of the washer and they were as clean as new. I placed some coins I had just found in an old sock and threw them in the next load of dirty jeans and out came clean coins along with a clean load of jeans. If the coins don't come out clean enough the 1st time, just put them in the next load.
DO NOT try this with a load of whites or your wife's nice clothes or you will find yourself in the doghouse for a very long time!

PS Works best on silver coins!
